The immature brocade python has no chance of survival when caught by the “huge” iguana.
While walking at a university in Nakhon Pathom, central Thailand, Nichakarn Chitchaw spotted this dramatic scene. As revealed by Nakhon, even though he caught the python, it took more than 40 minutes for the iguana to kill the opponent for food.
In the wild, the python is one of the largest reptiles in the world when it can grow up to 6m long and weigh more than 100kg. This helps them to hunt and kill many other large animals for food.
However, when immature, brocade pythons easily become delicious prey for other carnivores, because they move too slowly.
